Buddy Barrel
Hi, I'm Buddy Barrel! I was chosen to represent BGMC because a long time ago, when supplies were shipped to missionaries, they were packed into wooden barrels. The first Buddy Barrels were small and made of wood. Now I'm a bigger, yellow, plastic barrel-all the better for you to save your money in. Be sure to bring your Buddy Barrel to church once a month so you can give your offering!
History of Barrels for Coin Collection [1949 to present]
The first Sunday of each month our kids bring their barrels of coins for BGMC. These dollars and coins add up! The annual amounts total anywhere from $900 to over $2,000. Even more importantly, each month our kids are learning to have a heart for Missions around the world as they hear stories about many missionaries and the people groups they are bringing the gospel to! Our church family considers each child to be a missionary.....and a possible A/G missionary of the future.

Sonlight Missions Giving
Every Wednesday afternoon the Sonlight group takes an offering for a missionary or project. For the 2021-2022 school year our missions project is the new Verndale Area Christian Academy! We are excited to support this school and see the Lord grow kids for His Kingdom work in our area. Thank you Lord, for our Christ-Centered school and bless the leaders and teachers there.
