These 16 Fundamental Truths were established by the 1916 General Council of the Assemblies of God, two years after the movement was founded, in order to bring uniformity to the doctrine held. The 4 core beliefs are: Salvation, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing and the Second Coming of Christ.
